The Community of CheminNeuf is a Roman Catholic community with an ecumenical vocation that grew out of a prayer group in Lyon, France in 1973. It now has over 2000 members in more than 30 countries including couples, families, celibates and single men and women. The life of the Community is rooted in the spirituality of St Ignatius, the experience of charismatic renewal and a passion for unity. Members come from many different Christian denominations and choose to live, pray and evangelise together while remaining in communion with their respective churches in order to serve the Church and the world.
The Community came to the UK in 1995 and now has houses in London; Sclerder, Cornwall and Storrington, West Sussex with members also in Liverpool and throughout the country.
